The chance to work with The New York Times again was super exciting. The article was complex, looking at Republicans who traditionally prefer not to legislate businesses were suggesting that banks could be legislated against for refusing to lend funds to people under 21 who wished to use the funds to buy guns. I submitted a batch of roughs as usual
The art director felt the bullets/chart where funds were declining had the most potential so I had a lot of fun working it up for artwork. The next challenge was to animate the idea so it worked as a loop for online and social media uses.
